Due to the inclement weather the Friday, December 8th and BOTH Saturday, December 9th performances of The Nutcracker have been MOVED. The new show times are as follows:


  • Friday, December 8th at 7p is moved to Sunday, December 10th at 6p.
  • Saturday, December 10th at 3p is moved to Monday, December 11th at 7p.
  • Saturday, December 10th at 7p is moved to Tuesday, December 12th at 7p.


Your original tickets will only be good for the performance listed in conjunction with the date and time on your current tickets.


If you are able to attend your rescheduled performance you do not need to do anything. Your tickets will be honored according to the schedule above.

Menorah Lighting Ceremony
December 13th - Wednesday; 6:00pm
Downtown Acworth


The Menorah will be located at the corner of Cowan Road and Main Street in Downtown Acworth. Rabbi Zalman Charytan from the Chabad Jewish Center will officiate the lighting with Mayor Tommy Allegood assisting.


The eight day Jewish holiday commemorates the Jewish Maccabees’ military victory over Syrian-Greek oppression more than 2,000 years ago. During Hanukkah, Jews across the world celebrate the miracle of light that burnt for eight days out of a single-days-worth of oil found in the Temple.

Christmas Lights Display & Live Reindeer

Pettit Creek Farms - Cartersville


Pettit Creek Farms invites you to enjoy more than mile of colorful, twinkling lights. The display is open nightly Monday-Thursday 6-9 PM and Friday-Sunday 6-10 PM. Santa Claus will visit with children Thursday-Sunday, so bring your camera! Two options for admission: Drive thru $15 per car; OR, Hayride $10 per person (babies in arms free). Both choices include the petting zoo where you can visit Comet and Cupid, the farm’s live reindeer. A live Nativity can be seen on weekends. The farm is wheelchair accessible. The concession stand menu includes hot chocolate, warm cider, marshmallows for roasting, and s’mores kits. Pettit Creek Farms also sells #1 premium Christmas trees freshly cut and standing in water.
