Country Comes to Town: A Grand Ole Opry Experience

Thomas A. Dorsey Gospel Heritage Festival

Celebrate Villa Rica's hometown legend Thomas A. Dorsey at this two-day event. Held the fourth Friday and Saturday in June, the festival features some of the best artists in the genres of gospel, blues and jazz. The festival kicks off on Friday night at the MILL Amphitheater in Downtown Villa Rica with live jazz. Saturday features a Gospel Service at 3 p.m. at Mt. Prospect Baptist Church, where Dorsey learned to play the piano. This will be followed by a blues show at the MILL Amphitheater later that evening.
